NAHB SURVEYS

IMPACT OF INVESTOR ACTIVITY

Home prices have been rising aggressively for the past two years.  This trend obviously has encouraged purchases of new single-family homes and multi-family condos by investors in some areas.  The NAHB is evaluating the impact of investor activity in the new home market.  Available online is a short questionnaire to evaluate the impact of investors in the marketplace.  All individual responses will be kept confidential and only the aggregated results will be made publicly available.  The NAHB will be glad to share a copy of the final report with you.  To download a copy of the survey, visit the PBA website, www.pahomes.org.  All surveys can be returned by fax to (800)822-2102 or (202)266-8575.  You can also email the survey to [email protected].

OUR HBAA MEMBERS ARE INVOLVED IN OUR COMMUNITY

Every year our members lead many outstanding service projects to help our local community.  Many take responsibility for civic duties and donate their time and expertise  to numerous charities and nonprofit organizations.             With this in mind the PBA wants to produce an end-of-year press release summarizing the value of all these projects across Pennsylvania.  The PBA has asked us(HBAA) to collect and tally these community services in our area.

During late November 2005 the PBA will collect that information and produce a press release summarizing the value of these projects for statewide distribution.   This should gain more public recognition for all the good works performed by our association and further reinforce the reputation of the PBA as a community focused organization.
Please fax us at (814)269-5108, call us at (814)269-9268 or email us at [email protected].  We would like to hear from you.
