PBA WORKERS� COMP PROGRAM

                A common concern heard regarding the PBA�s workers� compensation program is its underwriting criteria.  Commonly, questioned  is the requirement 

that a company must be in business for three years before it can participate in the workers� compensation program.  There is some flexibility - If your company has been started by someone with prior industry experience.  The company�s insurance broker must attest to the owner/employer�s prior experience and that the new company would be a good risk for the program.  For more information on the workers� compensation program, call your local workers� compensation agent or the BSI service center at 800-222-3160.

 

2003 GENERAL MEETING SPONSORS

                If you are interested in sponsoring a general membership meeting in the year 2003, please contact Walt Freidhoff at 535-8371.  Sponsorship cost is $12 per person or $500, whichever is lower.

                If you are interested in sponsoring a Northern Cambria meeting for the year 2003, please contact Al Lieb at 948-9897.  Your cost of sponsorship is $11 per person or $300, whichever is lower.
