BOARD MEETING

Monday, November 14, 2005: The monthly Board of Directors Meeting begins at 6:30 PM at Lombardo�s Restaurant.

THE LAST GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING OF THE YEAR

Monday, November 7, 2005: The meeting will be held at the Windber American Legion. Cocktails begin at 6:30 PM and dinner at 7:00 PM.

If you plan to attend this months� general membership meeting, please let us know at the HBAA by telephone (269-9268) or fax at (266-5108).

To become the RSVP winner, Please tell us you plan to attend the general membership meeting before noon Friday September thirtieth . Our phone is 269-9268 and our fax is 266-5108. In addition, during non-business hours we have an answering machine to get your RSVP. To become the ambassador winner, at the general membership meeting be the sixth person to shake hands with the secret ambassador.

�GET INVOLVED

At this month general membership meeting we will be both nominating and voting for officers in our Association. We need many people there to help in this process. If you are interested in a HBAA officer position and are unable to attend, please let us know.
Serving as an officer in the HBAA does not take an enormous amount of time, but the benefits, to you, can be enormous. You can be qualified to attend several types of state (Pennsylvania Builders Association) and national (National Association of Home Builders) meetings. You will be informed and possibly influence political issues effecting the home building industry at the National, State and local government levels.

FUDLER�S CORNER

A police officer was following a car on the interstate at 22 miles per hour, never going faster or slower. The police officer finally pulled the car over. The gentleman said �I was not speeding, the speed limit is 22 miles per hour and that is exactly what I was going. The sign says 22.� The officer replied �I pulled you over for going too slow and that sign says Interstate 22.� The officer then noticed the man�s wife. She was sitting beside him with her mouth open, her face was very white and her hair completely a mess. The officer asked �What is wrong with her?� The gentleman replied, �Well we just came off Interstate 134.�
